Press Release: From the Front lines of the WAR on Foreclosures

While everyone is hopelessly mired in the quagmire that is IRAQ, our government has failed to address a crisis of epidemic proportions right here on our soil. FORECLOSURE. The economy, the stock market, joblessness, the real estate standstill, and other ominous signs are all around. Do you understand how many people are upside down in equity in their homes? Do you understand how the "fly by night lenders, " over 200 of them bankrupt this year, caused this entire mess? Do you understand the main event hasn’t even started yet? Do you understand the securitized Trust, and the incestuous relationships of the banks?

The symbolic key will represent all the keys homeowners will be forced to turn in, or in some cases already have across the country. Homeowners in danger in the upcoming year should send keys, as well as those who have already lost their home. 

All of the keys should be accompanied by a letter, a personal note, or a photo of your home & family to the representative of your choice. On my web site the mailing addresses for every Senator and the entire Congress of the United States can be found.

This KEY EVENT campaign, will be asking people in foreclosure, in Chapter 13 Bankruptcy trying to avoid foreclosure, people in danger of foreclosure in the upcoming year, and anyone who supports this effort, to send this symbolic key to represent the crisis which is exploding NOW. Through most of 2007 the resets have been around 20 billion dollars a month, and we all know the havoc that has caused. If you have a web site (especially a site focused on this issue), a great blog, a popular You tube presence, etc, act as a partner and promote the MAIL A KEY EVENT. If you have time, post info on Craigslist, or if you have some extra money, buy a small ad in the local newspaper (or get local businesses to sponsor you), convince the local newspaper to write a story, post the message in the church newsletter, or involve your local community groups. Tell anyone, and everyone to spread the word about the campaign.

meant something, but now as I'm much further into my research, I've found the voluntary, "Please stop doing this," is an insult to homeowners. It's like saying to criminal, I know you will reform yourself now that you are caught, so all I'm going to say, is please don't do it again. TAKE THE KIT GLOVES OFF.  And, now I know that Wells Fargo is in this up to their eyeballs. The dog a pony show they are orchestrating is obscene. Did you know Wells Fargo is master servicer on 1 Trillion dollars of loans in securitized TRUSTS. In that role they are sanctioning the foreclosures and making decisions on loan modifications. As a borrower you would never know they are the ones pulling the strings, they are hiding behind the servicer. ASK YOUR SERVICER WHO IS THE TRUE OWNER OF THE NOTE OR MASTER SERVICER UNDER TILA 1641(f)(2). Ask this in a RESPA "qualified written request." They aren't supposed to deny you that information. President Bush is BLOCKING anything meaningful and it is clear he does not care about the AMERICAN FAMILY. He has bankrupted our Country morally and financially.  He did this by using our fears against us. The fear of terrorism, and other fears to control and manipulate us. WAKE UP.  Just think if all the money WASTED in IRAQ, some squandered by sheer mismanagement, some stolen by contractors, some through government corruption. In short, it was a license for certain businesses like Haliburton to steal from every man woman and child in this Country. The loss of life, to the war mongers, is nothing more then a sacrificial lamb. They care little about that. Just think if the reaction to 911 was to spend money HERE in our Country to improve our security, hire people, invest in security technology, etc., not only would that have been appropriate, but it would have kept our money here, and made our Country safer.  In effect, Bush has made us more vulnerable then ever.

WE MUST UNITE as Americans to turn this Country around.
